Well, here are some various stats for you to chew on.

The VAST majority of people who get STDs get them as adolescents or young adults. Seldom do people get their first STD at the age of 60+ (although with the baby boomers getting past 50, STDs among seniors are an emerging health issue).

The most common STD is HPV (human papilloma virus, causes genital warts or various cancers). HPV is prevalent in 70% of the adult population with 4.5 million new cases every year. Last month, the FDA licensed Gardasil, a vaccine that protects against the leading strains of HPV, so in time, we should see those numbers come down.

Another common STD is genital herpes (HSV-2), and that is prevalent in about 20% of adults.

Chlamydia and gonorrhea are most common in people ages 15-24 with millions of cases every year.

But I think the important thing is, given HPV alone, MOST adults in the US have a sexually transmitted disease.

I got clinically diagnosed with herpes virus (type 2) about 5 years back, when I was still in college and had a silly one-night stand. I know a lot of young women say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date other men again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores round her private parts? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/u9a0R everything changed.

Not only was I able to eliminate all remnants of the herpes virus from my system in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so fortunate to write that just a week ago, in front of everybody in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This method gave me back the opportunity to be happy and experience true love again. Now I want to help others by sharing this story.
