if you dont stick to your diet your sugar will jump right up there, yes you are diabetic unless your doctor says you arent.

Yes you are a type II it never goes away and you are somehow for the time being controlling it with diet. If you continue to eat sweet high calorie foods it will not be long before you will be on insulin shots. Your body told you that it makes insulin still but can't use it right. When you eat high sugar foods your blood sugar level surges and you raise your blood glucose you are not testing after a meal like that or you are giving your body time to absorb it before you test again. You should go to a dietitian and learn what and how to eat now and you can prevent side effects and possibly needing pills or insulin injections, they will work all foods you love into your diet you will not be deprived it becomes a healthy schedule to eat. You also need a endocrinologist who specializes in diabetes and will not miss things like a family doctor.

YES YOU ARE. Any normal non-diabetic person will have a blood sugar in the range of 70-120. Any person that exceeds 140 at any time should consider themself as a type 2 diabetic. Non-diabetic people never go about 140. If you're blood sugar readings are in the 90-130 range you may be testing at the wrong times. You should try and test about two hours after you eat. You can eat one sweet, high calorie candy or something and test in an hour and have a good reading. But, if you test one hour later your sugar level will be a lot higher. It takes time for the sugar to get to all parts of your body. When I eat one slice of bread, it takes about two hour plus a little bit for it to start showing up. BUT it does show up and my blood sugar does up high.

If you are diabetic II, it is possible to have your diabetes to go into remission. However, it takes alot of control, exercise, diet and if needed losing weight. Bottom line a change of life syle. That also means cutting down on sweets. Right now, your blood sugar is being controlled by medications and as time goes by your blood sugar will also increase. Diabetes is not to be fooled around with.

Yes. Only one random glucose (food or no food, no matter the time of day) higher than 200 + symptoms (thirst, desperate hunger, weight loss, too much urine volume) is diabetes.

Don't stop taking care!
