my husband and son have the Gout uric acid in the blood but now when they have attacts they eat alot of cherries it knocks the gout out. Dont ask me why but it works. they rarely have these attacts any more.on the start of one they go for the cherries or pure cherry juice that they keep on hand. toprol is for blood pressure and the asprin is a blood thiner and the lipitor is for clorestoral.. check again with the doctor. maybe he can try another med if you are unsure of that one.
