Yes, once! I'm a waitress. I can tell you why they were fat... they drank about 3 soda's each, had veggie burgers and fries, lots of ranch, fried zucchini (900 calories), and dessert! I would be a moo cow too if I ate like that!
I'm a vegetarian and I'm not even close to being fat!

Yes. Unfortunately, being or becoming a vegetarian is no guarantee that you will be thin! It is a guarantee that you will have a healthier life with less illness. Many people just don't understand good nutrition, whether they eat meat or not!

Yes, I am and have seen many others. It's all about portion size, what you eat/calories, and excercise. Not eating meat is not gonna make you lose weight unless you eat several pounds a day.

yes i have. being a vegetarian makes no difference if you don't cook and eat healthy - ie lots of friend food, high sugar content etc.

Yes, this girl at my school. She is about 300 pounds at 17 yrs old, and she is vegan. She is huge, but all she eats is a vegan diet. So it all depends on your calorie intake.

I was until I became an omnivore about a month ago. Just because you don't eat meat doesn't mean you can't eat sweets.
