I can't decide between carrots and green beans.

beetroot in butter, or petit pois.
If it were between carrots and green beans, then probably carrots simply because you're more likely to come across dodgy overcooked beans than duff carrots when eating out - and of course the sugar fix from carrots (same with beetroot)! :-)

I am the opposite of most all answers on here on this one. Peas and Limas tie. OH - did I mention that they must be home grown as the ones from the store are really generally yucky.

Turnip mashed with lots of butter and chives and secret ingredients. I love all kinds of veggies CORN is nice too. I am very hungry

The vegetable I like the most is Indian/Chinese bittergourd. I like the slightly bitter taste, when cooked in olive oil.., I like to have it with plain yogurt....

My faves are:
Squash, potato and cauliflower. yum yum..
but I think carrots taste great too. It's also good for the eye.

my favorite is zucchini and eggplants.... try roasting them w salt, pepper and olive oil until soft... then make a hummus-like dip or little ¨meatballs¨ out of them
