Albert Einstein--- I have a few million questions I'd love to ask!
Groucho Marx--- His wit and humor would add to any conversation.
Shemp Howard (of The Three Stooges)--- he'd have to be the waiter!
Robin Williams--- I bet he could get milk to shoot out of Groucho's nose!
George Carlin--- I bet he'd love to ask Albert a few questions too.
President Bush--- I just love the puzzled look he makes when anyone asks an intelligent question.
Mahatma Ghandi--- Just to keep it all in perspective.
All in all, I would say that would make the MOST hysterically funny and educational evening ever!

Without restrictions then probably everyone ever.
If I had only, say, 6people available I would go for:
1 - Sokrates. Who better to deabate and discuss with?
2 - Rasputin. Gets a bad reputation these days but a great man at parties.
3 - Henry VIII. A skilled musician, hunter, poet, singer, and architect (although he had a lot of wives). Also a king!!
4 - Christopher Lee. A great actor whom I have enjoyed meeting twice before.
5 - Eddie Izzard. Very funny man.
6 - Asia Argento. Italian actress. Very hot!
So many more I would like to add to this list...

You invite people to a dinner party to enjoy their company and their conversation. While visiting my father in Philly we went to a dinner party where there was 8 guests and an ecletic backgrounds. One guy and his wife were visiting from Brazil. Another guy was a professor at University of Penn. Another guy was from Ireland. They all had different ideas of American politics, soccer etc.
When I have dinner parties I usually invite friends from different friend circles that I have. Most of the time everyone gets along and it is great fun.

I would invite rich guests as they always speak in a posh manner and they know how to wipe their mouths before they drink, and they know how to hold a wine glass, and they know how to eat slowly. Plus, they always leave tips.

President Bush, but not his wife because I would want to drill him without any experts to coach him!
I'd ask him "Who died and made you President?".
