I'm going on a trip with my friend and we are entering a contest to eat a 12lb pizza together. You give 30mins. and the 2 man team wins 500 bucks if completed. Now I dont want to let him down, so I could use some help on eating without blowing a gasket!

What you're supposed to do is gradually eat more and more so tat your stomach gets used to it. I'm not sure if this actually works but I saw it on Arthur about a pie eating contest so it must be worth a shot.

I don't know how long you have to prepare, but eating little meals often from now until the contest will help. It will raise your metabolism and allow your body to process food more efficiently. This will mean that your body will zip through the food you have eaten before the contest and when you are ready your body will be screaming for food, thus enabling you to eat more for that one event. It is healthier than the other choices posted thus far!

You're going to need to increase your meal portions gradually. The good part is that you usually have at least 15 minutes for your stomach to communicate to your brain that it is full.

If you feel painfully full after the contest, you could always purge your stomach to relieve some of the pressure. It's gross, but it'll make you more comfortable.

I heard that if you eat two bags of lettuce the night before that it will stretch your stomach and your capacitance grows.

That's about all I know. Also make sure you have something to wash it down with. If you make it soggy it's easier to swallow.

Especially cheese.

Good luck!

what you could do is start slowly... eat really really big breakfasts... until you cant eat anym,oe... stretch your stomach... but eat slowly.. over time your stomach will stretch... and if you want to eat and not realize your full, eat high fructose corn syrup... because you'll eat it and not realize youre full...
