I prefer to make my own and I have an awesome no mess recipe for the best omelette's. In a zip lock baggie put two eggs and the ingredients of your choice. ( mine are bacon and cheese) squeeze the air out of the baggie and place the baggie in boiling water on the stove let it cook for 13 minutes you end up with the perfect omelet every time. The more omelette's you make the bigger the pot of boiling water. You can make a few then freeze them the next time you want one pop it in the microwave. Make sure to poke the baggie with holes before nuking it.

omelet! I love omelette's I cannot make one to same my life even though I found a way to make one without the frying pan..it's not near as good but it works I guess. (You take a zip lock baggie break your eggs -1 or2- into the baggie then add the other stuff you want to go with it -with in reason, can't add too much- then put the baggie in a pan of boiling water and cook for like 5 minutes or so.

I make an omelet (fritatta) with sliced squash, vadalia onions, peppers, garlic and fresh herbs. If I don't have squash I use potatoes. Also I have used mushrooms. Sometimes I even use cauliflower. A sliced tomato must be eaten with this.

There used to be a restaurant in town which made the BEST "Farmer's Omlette" (3 eggs, shredded boiled potatoes, lots of REAL ham (carved from the bone), finely chopped onions, finely chopped green peppers, cheddar cheese singles). It came with your choice of white, whole wheat, or caraway rye toast. the omlette was ALWAYS prepared perfectly - never burnt - never raw bits - and always piping hot! SOOOOO good.

I like almost anything in my omelette except for olives, and I dont like huge amount of tomato. for eggs, I like them fried or scrambled. I dont mind runny yolk, but not my favorite. I do not like hard boiled.
