The way you worded your question makes you sound just a little arrogant. It is offensive to us vegetarians. However, I don't think you had that intention.
Humans need meat. There are substitutes. Iron, for example, can be found in peanuts, spinach and broccoli to name a few. If you truly want to have a healthy lifestyle please look into the Kosher Laws from the Jewish Faith. They are the world's oldest known health codes. Kosher Laws say no pork, which is good because pork is really bad for your heart and if not cooked properly can kill you. Kosher Laws limit red meat, which while it IS good for you, too much of it is not good for you.
As a Vegetarian I find it unethical to eat animals. I love a good steak! I love the taste of pepperoni pizza and bacon on an egg sandwich. However, the taste is not enough of a draw to make me violate my beliefs.

Your question seems little bit controversial. Eating meat or eating anything is not the crime until we depends on eating, birthing, and drinking. But the crucial thing is we can survive our life without eating meat. It does ment that we should not eat me. I think ther e is no rationale behind eating meant and plant that they are both product of the nature. If we are eating plant or the meat of the animal we are destroying that thing. If then why to bother eating meats or anything.

I'm sure somebody asked a similar question last week. It's up to an individual of they want to eat meat or not but why can't people like you respect a vegetarians beliefs? Animals aren't made of meat it's their flesh that you're refering to. Humans are made of flesh too but we wouldn't go around eating each other - unless you're a bit of a psycho...

Would you rather meat grew on trees or animals made of vegetable flesh. Am I making sense? Humans are made of meat but we do not eat them! Well I do not.

Meat is a human vocabulary word. We created the word meat to refer to animal flesh as edible, so that doesn't necessarily make your point, Although I see where you're coming from.

Dur. They aren't "made" of meat. We call their flesh "meat". If that's your way of thinking then why don't we eat humans? We have flesh therefore we could also be considered as "meat". What a stupid question!

yea right.. were supposed to eat meat...-- but i think you gotta be mentally stronger not to eat meat. try not eating meat for 3 months-- jus try. i know we can easily eat meat n survival skillss. blah blah blah-- but that was when there were cave men. now we to civilized to eat meat-- if were not above that then it will probably take something like all the meat going bad (disease wise) for humans not to eat it.. n thats pretty sad.

who says we werent meant to eat them?
there are things in meat that our bodies need although we can survive with out meat. i try not to eat much meat as i dont like the way the animals are treated in this country, i would feel much better if they had a decent life and were killed quicker and in the least painful way as possible.
why arent freerange eggs really free range? what a blatant lie is that? if the yolk is not dark yellow its not free range.

They aren't 'made' of meat... just to let you know humans have meat on them too, and I don't think we were intended to eat each other.
