ok so I never had a herpes sore or a cold sore, but I see now that herpes is really common (thats scary!) so I have a question, when you get a herpes or cold sore, do the blisters ALWAYS hurt and turn red and scab? just by looking at it what does it make it a herpes blister and not some other blister from something else? cuz as a mover a work with my hands and tie a lot of knots with ropes and get blisters on my hands but they dont turn red or scab, they just pop and dry up.

Yes, the lesions produced by the herpes virus are exquisitely painful, even before they erupt.

Also, they are not likely to be on hands, but in the genital region or around the mouth/nose.

Keep up the good work.

I got identified with genital herpes (type 2) about seven years back, while I was still in college and had a dumb one-night stand. I realize lots of young ladies will declare this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date men again. After all, who wants to go out with someone that has sores round her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/1ngbi everything got better.

Not only was I able to clear away all remnants of the hsv from my system in less than 21 days, but I was also able to start dating once more. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just a week ago, in front of everybody in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This method provided the chance to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to help you too by sharing this with the World.

I was told I have HSV2 which was detected during a blood test. I have gotten tiny blisters on the same spot 3 times, and honestly they did not hurt at all... only when they were scabbed over, sometimes the friction is irritating, but not unlike anything else... They say some people respond diff than others... only way to be sure is to get a blood test and repeat it again a few months later... if you think you have it, or even had one test come back positive, inform your partner and take appropriate risk management steps.

For the record, my blisters don't look like that either.
