it won't go away ever but it can be controlled with proper diet. sometimes someone with type 2 can control it with diet and not have to take the pills, but most of the times they will have to take the pills the rest of their lives.
what is type 2?
The diagnosis of type 2 diabetes is becoming increasingly common in U.S. kids and teens, especially in those who are overweight. Some studies report that between 8% and 45% of children who've been newly diagnosed with diabetes have the form known as type 2, depending on geographic location and racial/ethnic group.
Diabetes is a chronic condition that needs close attention, but with some practical knowledge, you can become your child's most important ally in learning to live with the disease.
What Is Diabetes?
Diabetes is a disease that affects how the body uses glucose, the main type of sugar in the blood. Glucose comes from the foods we eat and is the major source of energy needed to fuel the body's functions.
After you eat a meal, your body breaks down the foods you eat into glucose and other nutrients, which are then absorbed into the bloodstream from the gastrointestinal tract. The glucose level in the blood rises after a meal and triggers the pancreas to make the hormone insulin and release it into the bloodstream. But in people with diabetes, the body either can't make or respond to insulin properly.
Insulin works like a key that opens the doors to cells and allows the glucose in. Without insulin, glucose can't get into the cells (the doors are "locked" and there is no key) and so it stays in the bloodstream. As a result, the level of sugar in the blood remains higher than normal. High blood sugar levels are a problem because they can cause a number of symptoms and health problems.

Type 2 diabetes is high blood sugar. Once you get it, you've got it for life. You can't "eat right" and have it go away. But eating right will help to maintain your blood sugar, which will stabilize the diabetes and allow you to possibly live a life that is medicine and insulin free (at least for a while). Type 2 diabetes is also not genetic. You get Type 2 from having poor eating habits or gaining weight.

When you have type 2 diabetes you inherit it when you are over the age of 18. With type 2 diabetes, you usually don't have to take insulin: you're usually on the pill. I don't think that with a proper diet that it will go away, though.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.
I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

CALM DOWN lol, if it comes back positive yes they test again, and if that comes back positive , they put you on a special diet to try and control it if that doesn't work then they can either put you on pills or shots depends on the doctor ( it is not the end of the world I had to do it for 2 pregnancies and it doesn't even hurt you just have to get over the fact of giving yourself a shot) you should go back to normal after you give birth they will continue to test you in the hospital until it goes back down yes it is caused by the pregnancy but to for warn you this is an indicator that more than likely sometime in your life you will become diabetic so you should always have a annual exam ect and keep on top of it if you are it is nothing to play with GOOD LUCK

An inspirational book is "Reversing Diabetes" by Julian M. Whitaker, M.D. who says that a change in life style (exercise, weight loss and diet) can reduce or even eliminate dependence on insulin or oral drugs. You have gotten good definitions but inaccurate information on whether you will always have to take medication or insulin for it. The National Institutes of Health have updated information about the disease as well. By the way, this disease is more common among African Americans and overweight people. I thought I was small at about 134 lbs and 5'1" but a 5lb weight loss and walking about 3 blocks a day to and from my local library reduced my blood sugar level. I am working on changing dietary habits as I was born with a fried chicken breast in my hand and a serving of ice cream.
