you need to steam the crab meat if it is real crab, if it is imitation, just thaw it.

Well it appears that you are using frozen commercially produced crab meat and the label should tell you what to do with it. I would suspect that it has already been cooked before freezing. If you are obtaining the meat from fresh crabs yourself then of course you have to cook the crabs to extract the meat. So it appears that it has already been cooked but maybe has to be cooked again after defrosting. While a website may not tell you, the label on the package of crab meat should tell you all this. I have never heard of frozen crab meat that has not already been cooked because it has to be cooked to extract the meat from the crab.

California Rolls haven't any uncooked meat in it. Are you optimistic the crab meat is uncooked? various situations, the crab meat which you purchase in a food market is already cooked. maximum eastern eating places use the imitation crab meat in California Rolls, it extremely is already totally cooked.

If you bought it frozen it's probably cooked already. Defrost in microwave and steam or boil for ten to fifteen minutes, just until heated. Good luck with your California rolls.

i think you just have to thaw it thouroughly and not cook it, assuming that your crab meat is in the form of those red sticks.
