That depends on your height.

I want you to really internalize what I am about to tell you - the traditional height/weight tables are only applicable to about half of the US public.

Amongst the other half, many have skeletal frames holding much more muscle and weight than the table says they should have. Also there are many that have skeletal frames sleighter with less weight than these tables say they should have.

So in truth, it's not possible to just tell you what you should be in weight.

A reasonable gauge is really just to exercise, try and be healthy while eating a balanced diet everyday.

Unless your 200 pounds don't worry about it. You still have a lot of years to grow. And as long as your eating well and exercising you'll be fine. I was an "overweight" 12 year old but by the time I reached 14 I was a very healthy weight. Don't compare yourself to the mags because they are airbrushed and "touched-up" No one can compete with the models we see on mags. because they aren't real! Yes I said it. They are real people but if you saw them on the street I bet you wouldn't recognize them.

Depends upon how tall you are, if you are a boy or a girl, whether you have a large, med. or small frame (skeleton).

Dont' worry about the number right now, honey. Just eat healthy, drink lowfat milk, choose fruits instead of candy and chips, and be physically active each day. You'll be just fine!

I'm glad you asked this. So many people today are unconcerned and it's good to see that you are aware and are looking to optimize your health. Check out this link;

http://pediatrics.about.com/cs/growthcharts2/l/bl_growthcharts.htm

It breaks down height/weight chart for boys and girls from birth to 36 months, and also from age 2 to 20. Don't know if you're male or female. If female, the fourth chart down says 'boys ages 2 to 20" but that's a mistake. The chart is pink and when you click on it it does indeed say for girls. After clicking on the charts, click on them again to enlarge enough to read. The site has a lot of other good links near the bottom, like a 'body mass indicator', etc.

Good luck.

Doesn't matter what age you are, it depends on how tall you are. So, how tall are you?
