nobody else in the house has to worry about getting them as they are transmitted via sexual contact. As far as them coming back..since it is a virus, it is not curable and the virus will always be in the body. Warts can be removed but likely to come back.

Poor child....That really hurts my heart. Do not worry about disenfecting your home. You can only spread thos diease if you have sexual contact. And genital warts can only affect yor genitals-not your chest,arms,legs-There has been reports of genital warts in your throat, but only after oral sex with an infected person. He will always have this diease, but the warts can be removed. With men treatment of removing the warts usually is effective to keep them fron re-occuring.He will always carry the diease though.Males genitals are on the outside,so re-occurance of warts is not too typical, but can happen.and even if you use the same wash cloth, you can not get it.I know because I was diagnosed with the same thing and I have two small kids.Don't make him feel like a big germ or something.Take him to a doctor asap.He should not have to go thruogh this.Good LuckI will keep yall in my prayers.=)

Don't share hand towels/bath towels with him. Wash clothes seperately.
The above may be a little over the top, although you should be extra cautious if you have a family of your own to worry about. Generally this condition can only be passed on through genital to genital contact. Although, I've heard of cases where somebody who doesn't practise a healthy hygiene routine ended up with warts in the mouth, chest and neck. Make sure this child does understand it CAN come back, and that's why it's important to clean himself well.

There is no way anyone in your house is going to get warts from the child unless they are having contact with him that they shouldn't be. Take him to the doctor to get them removed and the doctor should explain the rest to you.
