Water of course, is obvious, but I'd like for her to have a "cocktail-ish" looking drink at some point during the night.

Gotta watch those non-alcoholic wines, a few of them do have alcohol in them and be sure she even likes the taste of alcohol if you do decide to use them. A glass of white grape juice with a shot of seltzer or sparkling water, and a strawberry sliced and perched on the rim might make her feel special. You are a thoughtful hostess!

Mock Champagne Cocktail:
4 cups carbonated water, chilled
4 cups ginger ale
3 cups unsweetened white grape juice

Crystal Geyser Juice Squeezes were a staple during pregnancy. With a lime twist & poured into a cocktail glass they look & taste very festive.

I have also included a link to mocktail recipes (like the 'Nada Colada') : http://www.bellaonline.com/subjects/1625.asp

Definitely Shloer. We always have it at Christmas dinner because we don't want to get too tipsy that early in the day and it's gorgeous. There's red and white grape, just like wine!

Cranberry juice and lemonade looks good. When I was pregnant I drank lots of Shloer (I think that's how it's spelt!) - sparkling grape juice, which is v nice and is almost wine. You can get non-alcoholic grenadine and do a tequila sunrise without the tequila, perhaps.

Ask her, some things will just make her heave, sparkly water, fruit juices and milk are good things to have on standby but really don't be shy ask her, better that than she feels miserable becuase she cant drink anything!

You can have her verify with her physician, however a little wine is safe for her like 2 glasses or she can have sparkling cider/wine by welch's it comes in a wine shaped bottle or virgin daiquiris

Martinelli's sparkling apple or grape, it even comes in a wine-ish looking bottle, no alcohol content. Or try your local liquor store , they might have something good with no alcohol involved. Might i say, you are a good friend for thinking of your friend like that , and considering her situation - she will appreciate your effort.
