I think you can now buy self tests from chemists that you do get the results straight away, but if it is via the doctors, then no you dont get the results straight away. Via the docs they send off a sample to the lab and it takes a few days to come back.

you can get home chlamydia tests now and they give you a result immediately, was the persons result positive or negative

Well, you can check some things in the sample before going to further tests on that sample. Like, smell of the sample with Potasium Hydroxide (KOH), and if you have a microscope there you can check the cells (Clue Cells) there...

no. the chlamydia test is very painfull, and leaves a guys thing feeling nasty for a week, when ever he wees it feels like burning, lots of guys avoid this test, when the doc tells them whats involved, go with him, and watch him get it done. you are allowed.

no they have to send them out to the lab its takes 1 week. They lied to you
I got tested at then gyno for it , and a clinic , both took 1 week
but i didnt have it

if you slept with them, you better get checked, it has no symptoms sometimes, and is easy to get rid of, just antibiotics. some doctors have labs in their offices, and they can tell you in a few hours.
