10 cigarettes isnt enough, 20 is too many. Half a bottle of wine isn't enough, a bottle is too much, a tin of beans is too much, half a tin not enough. etc etc.

We need to start a campaign to sell 2/3 sized goods.

Live with the standards. Is a magnum of champagne too much? and only the poor buy a pack of 10 cigarettes. Your complaints will fall on deaf ears with the manufacturers as they test market things to find out the use rate. They measure everything carefully to decide which countries will use which size. So it would seem that the majority of consumers would disagree with your idea.

Most goods come fortified with enough preservative to make em last just a little bit longer.Use what you need and keep the rest for later.
