Yes, but as long as you condition it won'y be permanent. make sure u get a SOFT perm.

ANY chemicals (color, perms, etc) damage your hair to a certain extent. But there are products to keep it healthy looking and to keep the life of your perm up to 3 months or longer. YOUR hair type, length and after perm products are all factors in how LONG the perm lasts.
PS) If it is said it only looks cute for 3 weeks---it's because the NEW (look) has worn off with most everyone who has saw it by then.

All perms DO damage your hair.
For its duration, if you do straightening, it usually lasts for half a year. If you do curls (which I have), I'd say forever, but slightly less curly after 4 or 5 months later.
For colouring your hair, it will last forever as well. It will slightly fade or change its colour after 3 or 4 months later.
Some poor quality straightening perms from some salon lasts for about a week only. If you sit at least 4 or more hours when doing straightening in a salon, it will last for at least half a year usually.

any chemical process will damage your hair. but if you hair is healthy it will be ok. perms last for 6 weeks. i would say after 4 or 5 weeks the curls will start to loosen up.

All perms damage your hair. Just use good quality products to follow up and it should be reduced to a minimum.

stay away form home perms, visit your hairdresser who will advice on what type of perm is suitable , the only down fall might be the price but it wil be worth it, agood perm should last you 6 months

Perms will not damage your hair. You do need to condition your
hair afterwards, but you should condition your hair anyway.
Perms lasts over 3wks.

depends on allot of things but it most like will do some dammage to your hair.
