Hey you're 13 - as long as there is no sex then there is no law saying you can't date somebody older. My concern is that she will not be happy going another 3 years (until you are legal) to have sex. I would suggest asking to be friends until you are older and then starting all over again. I would think she would have found somebody her own age the. My main question would be why would a 17 year old girl want to go out with a 13 year boy. Sorry but that's what is happening.

Even though the age gap is only 4 years, at 13 and 17 the difference in maturity and experience between the 2 of you is huge. It's not right for you to have a relationship with her now, but if you remain friends (purely platonic) who knows what will happen in 5 or 6 years time when your age gap is less important. As others have said, any sexual relationship with her is illegal and you could be charged with rape.

13??? Why?? You are 17 - find someone you own age. Or wait till she is of legal age. After all you wont be able to see certain films at the cinema, when you can legally drink she wont be able too, and you certainly cant have a sexual relationship with her. I dont think at 13 she will really know what love and relationships really are.

It's not only right, but wonderful! Just don't, whatever you do, take it too far! If you really are in love, then just wait - yes three years may seem an eternity but the trouble you could get into will stay with you forever.

love is love there is nothing you can do about that but you should always remember that they are a minor and that there can be consequences for that, lots of people wont understand that you can be in love at the age of 13 but sometime the heart can be stronger then people think, you should still take it step by step love is a strong word and people miss use it alot for a different feeling such as lust,

noway, i think thats gross and most likely in a few months extremely ILLEGAL, lets put it this way an 18 year old dating a 13 year old... sick.. dont do it you'll end up someones b*tch in prison.. plus i doubt you love her, you probably have a crush on her. WHY NOT what has age got to do with anything if you like each other go for it I say like because love is a big thing and needs to be worked at. Just remember that making love is still illegal under 16 so be carefully or if the erg is to much please please take precaution baby's at this age is a big NO NO
