opera is miles ahead of the other browsers. very fast and has the best mouse gestures engine. one disadvantage is that there are a few pages that only show well on IE (although that is not opera's fault but rather the webmaster).
the only advatage that firefox has over opera are the extensions which can basically mimick any feature of opera that firefox might not have. however, it'll never be as fast as opera

I would use firefox. More people use firefox than opera so the firefox team are constantly updating the browser. Many extensions can be added to firefox to customize your browser.

I have used both and I think Firefox is better bacause it is so lean and fast. Opera is pretty bloated by comparison but still miles better than IE.

I'm using Mozilla and I'm happy with it.
I think both are better than IExplorer, though.
