One day somebody decided there was going to be something called the "Netiquette Police" and they decided that writing in capital letters is the equivalent of shouting if it is done on the Internet. Personally, I think this is insane. It is easier to read capital letters, and with lunatics flying airplanes into skyscrapers I think we are giving ourselves one more thing to worry about that really is much ado about nothing.

Coz the Net is where people express their feelings/thoughts/ideas through words, instead of using the normal verbal conversation used in the real world.
So, to express anger, Netizens (Net citizens) use capital letter.
Okay ?
:)

My good friend,
If you write in capital letters, it shows that you have not been to nursery school.

Not just yahoo - by just about everywhere else too. It makes you appear to be shouting, rude and uneducated.

It is considered "e-shouting" (shouting over the internet). It is not polite netiquette.
