Fundamentalists, about the Flood...?

It's interesting to read that God was justified because everyone (except Noah and his family) was evil. Even new-born infants and those still in the womb? Were all the animals on the planet evil as well?

Bear in mind that at that time there was no promise of heaven and hell before the Flood. No deal with Abram to create a Chosen People. No prophecy of Christ. Even Satan was still doing God's bidding (Job comes after Genesis and tells of God giving instructions to Satan regarding the torment of Job, and Satan obediently carried out God's instructions).

How do you justify the drowning of babies and pregnant women by claiming, as the Bible does, that all flesh was evil and corrupt?

One more thing: God the omniscient knew before creation that He would use a flood to kill off everything He'd created. So why bother creating everything? Why not skip everything pre-Flood and simply make Noah and his family, instead of Adam, etc.?

yes, I know it's supposed to be a metaphor to explain why fossilized sea shells were found miles from water. But Fundamentalists insist the story is true, so...

Just who was God trying to impress with a flood? Noah was already impressed, and God promised to never wipe out humanity again, so what was the point?

There is a book called "The Genesis Flood" that gives scientific evidence that supports an actual flood. I recommend reading that for the historical and scientific evidence.

In the account of the flood, babies are not mentioned, but it speaks of evil being prevalent. Human life had no value. People in general were only concerned with pleasing themselves without thought given to consequences linked to their actions. Animals were considered clean or unclean according to other information, but there was not room on the ark to save every single animal...but since animals do not have eternal souls it is a moot point. God told Noah to take each KIND of animal aboard in order to repopulate the earth.

Satan asked for permission to test Job, telling God he thought that Job only followed God because he was blessed and prosperous. Satan thought if he took all of Job's blessings away that he would turn away from God. Job, instead said "Even though He slay me, Still I will serve Him."

The question as to why God does or allows these things when considering His omiscience is that it is impossible for my finite brain to completely understand an infinite God.

If you read Job, you find that Satan went to GOd with a challenge. Job was a faithful servant and very blessed. Satan wanted to show God that if all was stripped of Job then Job would curse the same God who blessed him. God did not order Satan but gave him permission.
God knows all and still He persists to take a load of mess off this world He created and blessed. Why? He is a loving God. Why did He allow Charles Manson to be born and not be a still birth? I have no answers except that God is all knowing and all powerful. He has His own reasoning for the actions He takes against man kind and we must be sure of who are following lest we fall to the way side like those in Noah's day. I will tell you that in Noah's time a child paid for their parents sins as well as the parent. Even though we do not read of a heaven or hell, sin was known and sacrifice was required. God performed the first sacrifice when He removed Adam from the garden and Cain and Able performed sacrifices. THis is symbolic of the coming and death of Jesus. THe promise of Jesus is given in the gareden whenn God curses the serpent and in as much curses Satan.

My last question is for you. Why does God bother with you when He knows the outcome? Why me for that matter?

It wasn't that Noah wasn't "evil" but simply that "Noah found Grace" for his sins. No doubt that flood thing was a catastrophic event. I suppose that its possible that God prevented conception in the time before the flood, the BIble doesn't mention one way or the other.

It's far more likely that most of the young children and babies were "nephilim" which were considered by many to be the children of "humans and angels" cross-bred. Hmmm.. Arguments on that one, I'm sure! Not sure if I believe it myself, but it would explain a lot.

Why create creation if He knew it was going to fall, get flooded out, and have to start over? Why not start at Noah first?

God is Just. And Justice calls for "due process" -- which means that in order to be Just and get to Noah, He had to go through the "due process" of creating creation, letting us fall, and all that happened from then until now.

Allah created Man, Adam, when Satan who was designated as angel at that time he refused to accept Allah order and was called as iblees and satan.

My Dear, before prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him, each messenger or prophets appointed in this world was meant to be for a specific geographic centered area or a region or a nation. Even two or more prophets simultaneously existed in different region having thier own tasks and assigned duties. You better understand the administration structure normal days no need to explain. Allah sent 124000 of his messengers to all world. and last of the series was Prophet Muhammad peace be pon him, who continued the message of islam which was started from Adam peace be upon him, but the difference was he was sent as a mercy for whole universe, and to him the series of sending messengers and message of Allah has ended.

Noah was not appointed for the whole world, he was having a specific area and a nation ok? and flood was not upto entire planet it was to his area.. and to his nation and for those who disobeyed him from hundereds of years..

Anything was not meant to be proven or somethings, prophets are mercy but when they never paid attention on trthness, when Allah showed them right path, when Noah did his level best and applies to all nations who were ruined due to this kind of behaviour and acts, when right and wrong was clear to them and they refused to do so, Allah has decided to teach them a lesson, which they make joke, whenever Noah peace be upon him tries to convience them, an dsaid be on right path otherwise there will be a disaster and they said "where is your disaster, bring it" and again and again they laughed, then it happened, because the nation was something superpower and economically and geographically strong. They were healthy and wealthy and never in thought of distrucion. To them it was impossible.

so now about the animals, noah built the boat and then he got the pair of each animal, of that region not whole world, and why? because as we know every geographical region has thier own kind of species, birds and animals, so to protect the species. Today we see documentries of the species thosre are most likely to vanish from earth face like panda and tigers, and we trying to save them, so same thing Allah wanted to sav ethe species.

if you have aware ness of science and geography and biology, you know once these all land was a one peiece, i would like you to refer encyclopeduia, and then continets and earth plates , i think you might have idea, how continets came n to being and even today they are moving apat, there are valleyis in world once they were part of sea and today they are deserts or forests , so my dear in thousands of years this circle came, a modern exampel holland was half in sea and their people did fight with sea to recover the land so if human can do these things why cant God Almighty? and scientificaly you know one more circle will came and who know whee this shift would be in next thousands of years...

even let suppose your assumption is good, how can you say fossils are of that same times, of noah? are all fossils in world are of same time or same old? no my dear, and is that there is no fossil of that time? no there would be becasue you dont know the statisticss of fossils and all knowledge but truth is fossils of different era and different species are availabel. so its cant be use in this discussion

for your record, fossils are biggest prove of creation and refuse evolution theory that billions of years before even toads, flies ants are same as today? WHY? they dont converted?> ant is ant till today after millions of years why? simply darwanism is wrong

anyway last but not least, if you are so caring of your childern thier future and thinsg like that , and if you know their is a right path and a perosn telling you to correct yourself, and you dont pay attention. If you feed posion to your childs and expect that they should atleast save its just your fault no ..

individualism is omething else, but when come to a nation, elders mistakes have to pay thier childerns, pick any of the nationa's history and see? do wars or disaters care? if parents are aware from hundereds of years, they lovethier childerns and in wombs why didnt they paid attention..if they love thier childern so much
