Search Yahoo and Download:

DVDFab Decrypter 2.9.8.3 - freeware

DVD Shrink 3.2.0.15 - freeware

CopyToDVD 3.1.3 - free on Shareaza

To rip a movie from a DVD... Insert the disk, open DVDFab Decrypter, select where you want the DVD files to be created, press start. This program will decrypt the latest protections and ensure that DVD Shrink will work with all newer disks.

Open the files you created with DVD Shrink. You can compress the disk to fit on a single-layer DVD-R or transfer just the main movie files (no menus, ads, etc...) with little or no compression. You can prepare files for a dual-layer DVD-R, little or no compression required. Set the program to output DVD files, choose where you want them to end up.

Many people are burning the disks with CopyToDVD these days. Biggest advantage is that dual-layer disks created by this burner are less "buggy" and compatible with more players than disks burned by Nero. Browse for your output from DVD Shrink and burn your DVD. Oh... Under "options" / "settings" / "file system" in CopyToDVD... select UDF 1.02 as the ONLY file system to include (only need to do this once) to ensure burning the most compatible video DVDs.

NOTES:

DVD Shrink is no longer being updated and will no longer be able to copy many movies without running them through DVDFab Decrypter first.

DVD Decrypter is no longer updated and can't handle some of the latest protections. DVDFab Decrypter is excellent and still being updated.

download dvd shrink. this works with nero if you have it. it will remove copy protection from dvds and will compress the dvd to fit onto one 4.7gb dvd. otherwise it would take atleast 2 to fit an entire movie.
