It could be that you know these times are gone and not going to be relived again.

You may feel you become sad when you think of the happiest times in your life as you want them back because they were such happy times and right now you may not feel that happy. It is good you have happy memories to help get you thru and you must start living for now and make more happy memories. If you find you are feeling incredibly low right now then i recommend you visit your gp asap and tell them your symptoms they will determine if you are suffering from mild depression. It is nice to want the good times back we all feel this way but have to accept that these were in the past and as i said make some more happy times. We are a long time dead.

If you have been feeling depressed, then even happy memories will be tinged with sadness.

If you have not been feeling depressed, happy memories could cause you to feel sad because they are memories--- and not your current situation.

Please seek professional help if you're depressed.
