Okay so I am going to get a mohawk, shave the sides of my head and all, right now its in a mohawk, but I still have hair on the side of my head, anyways im a girl and I want to know what you think of a girl having a mohawk, possibly even some type of colored mohawk

Do the mohawk if the mood strikes you, but don't shave the sides. Otherwise you're stuck with this hairstyle for awhile. Don't you like to wear it differently, sometimes?
Sometimes I put tons on gel in my hair to make it look completely different, but then I can always wash it all off have yet another different look.
Me - I like the ability to change quickly. Nothing wrong with a gilr wearing a mohawk. But do you really want to wear it all the time.

Do whatever you want to do... If you feel good with the mohawk, just do it. Still, many people think that it's awkward for a girl to have her head shaved.

I love mohawks on guys but on girls I think it would be weird. It kills all the femininity and your hair will take a long time to grow back. Or maybe that's just be because I'm kinda lady like.

I think you should definitely go for it! You might miss your hair, and your head could get cold, but at least when you're older you can say . . ."Oh, yeah I had a mohawk!" and then you'd be a better person to give advice to someone in your situation later! Go for a bright pink! If your gonna do it, you might as well go the whole way!

Don't do it...
You'll miss your hair! Don't settle for a trend! Try to make up a new one on your own! Go to a beauty supply store for help.
PS Guys look cute with Mohawks... but only some of them do... and girls look less cute...

It shows you have lots of confidence. Make sure cause you sure are going to make a statement. If you go mohawk youu gotta go color. Make it bright but not nasty/janke. Girl power!

I think it may be a little strange. No offense or anything. If you want to do it, you should go ahead and do it. Its totally up to you. I don't know what you look like obviously, on some people it looks a little strange, that's why I said that. Just remember that if you really don't like it, you can always get your old hair back in time.

i went to senior prom with a guy who had a mohawk .we dyed our hair with bright red kool-aid to match my dress. this was in '94. had a friend who was a girl who had a mowhawk. she was a sweetie!

Make sure it's what you really want since your hair will probably only grow five to seven inches in a year. It'll be a while before you'll be able to have a feminine haircut again.
