Arabs have a tradition of celebrating defeats.

How can Hizbollah be victorious when it is being replaced with an international force in South Lebanon?

How can Hizbollah win when 500 of its men lost their lives against the IDF?

How can Hizbollah claim victory when its offices and command infrastructure has been demolished by the IAF?

South Lebanon was once upon a time Hizbollah territory, now it's gone... controlled by soldiers of foreign countries - this is the shame of the Arab world because they themselves are not fit to run a country and need outsiders to ensure that its people behave like civilized people and not warring against its neighbours - THIS IS ISRAEL'S SUCCESS IN LEBANON.

Israel is always in total control over all its lands including parts of it in Syria, Palestine. It will always be victorious.

Neither, one guy on here stated that Israel went into Lebanon and is still there, therefore they won. I think this was a good point however their goal wasn't to occupy Lebanon, it was to destroy Hizbollah and they failed, equally Hizbollah wanted to destroy the Israelis, and they failed to do that before ceasefire was put into place. Neither sides won.

take it from me that was no war. the month long scuffle ended in a cease fire so that the leaders could work out a new peace agreement just a minor altercation in the hole scope of things. Yes lives were lost property destroyed, etc This conflict only lasted as long as it did due to the popular media's constant stoking of the story. open your eyes to today's self serving reporting. the popular medias only looking for viewer attendance not objective reporting, quite frankly lame azz reporters caused this scuffle to get the attention the Muslim terrorists wanted' leave it to the newz to play in to the hands of the extremists Who won? no one we all loose.

Israel continued to advance in Lebanon, Hezbollah never set foot in Israel, a truce is called, Hezbollah immediately claims they won. Now what does your common sense tell you?

From what I hear/read, it sounds as if Israel has done more damage to both the Lebonese civilians and militia and their land, although it sounds as if Israelhad their share of destruction done to them also.

What a totall waste of people, land, comodities, etc..... IMO, no one won. Won what? it's amazing how childish so many of the leaders of this world are. As far as I can see, no one gained anymore than a Baboon standing on top of what he had destroyed and beating on his chest.

That question reminds me of a snake eating it's own tail. It is pretty much like cutting the grass or fighting weeds, it never ends.

Who won? Iran, who sponsers the Hez. And the US consumer notice gas prices have gone down.

Well, to tell you, no one won.We say who wins in wars, but thats all a waste of time. Many ppl died, injured, problems happened, the whole worlds worried, but yet israel killed more ppl, and i know tht, but israel got many of its ppl killed. This is not a joke, and no one won anythng, but theyre both losers, and no winners.
