My ex boyfriend and I met 10 yrs ago, had a wonderful relationship for a yr and then he moved away. We remained really good friends over this period of time, but 2 yrs ago he came back out here on my birthday and asked me to marry him, but I said no. We are still friends and now my feelings are changing, I really think that I do want to marry him now. We had an open relationship when we were together before, but I don't want that now, I would want it to be just us. What should I do?

mm tough call and yes only you can really answer that - but why did he go away? I would suggest that you take things slowly again as it seems like he has just come back into your life. Maybe you should consider moving in together first to see how that works. I am not sure that marrying him is necessarily the right thing to do at this moment but if he is comitted to you then see how it goes - explain your feelings to him as you might be confused by his seemingly sudden proposal.

Good luck and i am sure if you love each other then it will work out.

I'm sorta thinking, if you have to ask, than the answer probably should be no. Get back into a monogamous relationship with him before you jump into marriage - its a life long commitment and you need to make sure your making the right choice.

Give it time. Dont rush into anything serious...especially marriage. Even though you remain really good friends, it doesnt tell you much about how he is as a relationship partner now. Open-relationships? doesnt sound like a commitement type ordeal...So talk to him, tell him what you want, and listen to see what he wants...Communication is gold!

invite him again! for a dinner or a lunch!

and be charming,if u felt he isn't gonna talk about it show him ur worm feelings...
simply tell him how much u miss him!

i think he still wants u!

tell him that u started to think differently in life.... give him only hints!

dont start talking directly about what u have in mind!
he will get ur point!

Talk to him as soon as you can. I hope you do not plan to have an open relationship and marriage, make sure he understands what you desire.
