Stick with the BRAT diet:

Bananas
Rice
Applesauce
Toast

This might seem kind of bland, but if your child has an upset stomach and diarrhea, s/he probably isn't really hungry anyway.

All of these foods are very mild/bland, and won't cause his/her diarrhea to get worse.

Also, Pedialyte is a good idea. Babies can become dehydrated VERY quickly with diarrhea.

Keep him/her hydrated. Give Oral Rehydration Salts mixed to the correct dilution. Or if that's not give diluted fruit juices. Otherwise cooked some rice in plenty of water, boil it for some time till you get a watery rice porridge, cool it and give to him/her. If you can find it give him/her Smecta (according to dosage). And please see a doctor, the diarrhoea may be caused by some food intolerance and there may be other conditions not readily known; also other medicines may be needed.

Give your little one natural yoghurt with honey mixed in.
Will sooth the upset tum and should help to firm up the poop.
However, the best thing is to drink lots of cooled, boiled water, keep your little chicken well hydrated, thats the most important thing and if he/she has a poorly tum, probably not in the mood for food anyway.........they will let you know when they're ready, so just make sure theres plenty of fluids going in and plenty of cuddles..................*hugs*

A non-sugary breakfast cereal (like Weetabix) with some yoghurt and banana.

Rice pudding.

Plain boiled rice with some mild cheese grated on it.

etc.

when my kids were little, the doctor said when they were sick like that to use the "BRAT" diet, which stands for bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast. Those foods are apparently easier to digest ( don't put any butter or jelly on the toast!). Seemed to work pretty good for my kids when they were sick. Good luck.

Nothing really, but if you must feed, then dry toast. This way the upset tummy will go quicker.

Get the little one some Pedialyte, that will keep him/her from dehydrating and try some jell-o or maybe even yogurt, also try some soup. Hope this helps and hope the little one gets to feeling better soon.

make sure have plenty of fluids so your child doesnt dehydrate, it doesnt matter about food for now, when your child is feeling better, give she/he a piece of dried toast, or a plain biscuit, not any milky products, hope your child will get better soon.
