as i said i'm going with my girl friend to have dinner in a 5 stars hotel.and i'm a bit confused about dressing!

you want to look and feel relaxed right?
i would go for a really smart pair of trousers and a collared shirt but no tie or dinner jacket or anything. this wont be necessary.
make sure you open doors, pull her chair out for her and stand whenever she gets up from the table.
dont waste this really sweet opportunity to make her feel like a princess.

I think a suit with good shoes. A gray, navy blue, or black suit would be fine. You don't really need a tie, just mostly the jacket. Your belt doesn't have to match your shoes. Just make sure your shoes are polished and you'll be good.

a nice well-ironed light blue polo top and a pair of neutral or earth-tone slacks with shined leather shoes will do the trick...
you can also put some setting gel on your hair and wear a decent men's watch to add life to your clothes...

dont have to wear a taxedo. just be well dress. a good pressed pants and shirt wear a tie. or just dont wear anything that would be good too.
