if you have dreadlocks, please give me some advice on how and where and when. i need to know how much shorter my hair will be if i make thin dreadies.

it is not advisable as it damages the hair a lot, when you keep dreads it loosens the hair from the root and cause severe damage to it follicle so don't go dready but go plain to keep it healthy

i don't understand your question. If you are asking that if your hair will be short when you first twist it really tightly to start the loc process, yes it will. But dreds make your hair grow faster so it won't take long (couple weeks?) for it to grow back out
