Hehehe. Two tours in 'Nam as a Ranger, many years of being a 'deniable' for a spooky branch of the Government that doesn't *really* exist........ Yeah, I've picked up a couple of scars (some of which *don't* show)
My 2'nd ex-wife put it best: I'm a pile of scar tissue held together with a bad attitude.

It was my understanding that scar tissue happens after an operation and if any pieces break off, will go through the body eventually entering the valves into your heart and kill you.
It is also my understanding that eating papayas will eat up scar tissue because papayas contain an enzime that aggressively attacks scar tissue. So, which it truth and which is fiction?

Plastic surgery can minimize the appearance of scars. People who develop keloids from scarring present a very difficult problem.

scar tissue is where ever you have sustained trauma. e.g. if you inhale hot stuff you would get it in your throat or lungs. and as far as i know it is operable
