get a driving licence application from a post office. The replacement licence will cost you £19.00. then get a safe. You don't need to carry your licence around with you. In fact, you should never show it to a policeman who may ask for it, as this is accepted as an admission of guilt. But showing it at a police station later is simply complying with the law. Strange but true.

U have to go to the DVLA, either their website, or to one of their offices, but be prepared for a long wait if U go to the offices tho
