Gosh, this does look like homework, doen't it???

Sin separates us from God. Just as any breaking of a law separates us from our community, sin separates us from God.

The proper way to dispose ourselves is to avoid sin, not because we fear punishment by God, but rather because we love God so much we do not want to disappoint Him.
