Doesn't matter your religion. Catholics just follow the rules. I actually have a lot of respect for diehard Catholics who respect what they've chosen to believe.
There's a story in the bible where a guy intentionally pulls out of a girl and spills his sperm onto the ground. God punishes him badly (maybe death, not sure, don't quite remember). So to make a long story short, God doesn't seem to support birth control.

Well, the religion sees that using birth control is a kinda murder. Because it kills the sperms and the ovum while they are already together inside the uterus. They see this as killing the embryo of a baby. Using all birth control agents is forbidden in Christian and Catholic. The only thing that is not forbidden is using condom. Because the condom just protects the sperms to meet the ovum, so it means they dun kill the embryo. But of course, having sex before married is also forbidden by the religions ;-)

that seems to be common, especially among the southern baptist denomination. these people tend to belive once theyre saved they can do whatever they want and suffer no ill. they also tend to give inanimate objects qualities of good an evil.(as if a latex tube has the capacity for evil!) so rather than teaching personal responsibility and abstenance they simply take the public school cirriculum for sex ed and change it around backwards. public schools dont mention abstenance as a birth control method, but they do mention that condoms are a birth control method. then these wierdos just change it around and they teach that condoms are bad. The Christian method for birth control (in non wacko denominations) is to refrain from having sex.

Yes. Some Christian religions might not and some do allow it.
I am a devout Christian and I used birth control as a married woman. I believe it was right for our family at that time. I have been married 25 years and have two kids.

I would say yes, because even married people need it sometimes, also a friend at my church and his wife had two sons, and were using birth control. She ended up getting pregnant anyway. So it is still in God's will. The bible also says no to put the Lord to a foolish test. So I say use it.
