they dont actually believe, they just hope. They are just placing their bets just in case there is an after life (which their isnt how stupid is that?).

If you can believe that to make a Table you do not need a carpentor or any substance, you definitely can believe that there is no GOD exists. Otherwise if you believe that nothing will come automatically as you wish, then think about this universe, which cannot come automatically without a creator behind it. When you see a picture, you can appreciate the Aritist behind it, but can't you appreciate the power behind the creation of this beautiful world? To understand the existence of GOD, you open your eyes widely and see how this world is? If you know how to appreciate a good work then you will soon can believe the existence of the power behind this universe.

It's actually quite simple. There is no more plausible explanation of life or of the near perfect natural cycles than the existence of a God who created them. That's not to say that it's extremely rational to believe in God. Not at all. It's simply more rational than, say, the Big Bang, which is pretty ridiculous.
Let me give an example. If you walked into your house one evening and there was a chocolate cake on the dining table, would you think your wife made it, or would you figure that some idle carbon and oxygen atoms spontaneously combusted to form a chocolate cake with your name on it? The most rational basic explanation for the existence of any contrivance is that someone with the ability contrive it contrived it. That's why people can believe that God exists.
The existence of the God of Religion is another matter. It's more likely that this God is a creation of man and not the other way round. There is no reason to believe that God created human beings in his own image, to worship him every day of their lives, and yet to live in total mystery of His ways. It is also quite absurd (and convenient) that it is a taboo in many religions (Christianity especially) to discuss anything about God which cannot be understood or explained or which is illogical. Some of the traits (eg. jealousy, favourtism) and actions attributed to God in the Christian religion indeed, are more characteristic of men. And not even the best of men.
I find it difficult to believe that an all powerful, all knowing God should descend into such pettiness as, for example, raising up Pharaoh to show His greatness through his destruction.
No, there's no reason why people should believe this God exists. And the people who believe in the existence of this God shouldn't condescend to pity those who don't.

God told us that when we look in the world and see the great perplexity in people who are unable to believe in God, and thus question how other people can believe in God, we will know that He exists.

The Founding Fathers, all great men by anyone's esteem, seemed to be reverent of God in all their writings and undertakings, and for the most part this country has been blest. Until recently, with Creation being obliterated from school books and those fighting to omit God from this 'One Nation Under God' it's no wonder the anti-christ will be welcomed but darkness will be in the air.

We Exist therefore We Are Therefore There Must Be A God That God Is In US, Each of Us in their own way interpreting their existance equating it to a miracle from a higher power even those that ascribe science & selection as that higher power or use names & concepts for GOD beyond the scope of Christian/Jewish/Muslim rational - - - the hunger the need to put a personality on God to ascribe to God a finality that the herd must acknowledge.

How in the world could I become human while there where much more things&mass in the world?
As a physicist I can`t understand why should I have sprite.
physics can`t answer why ordinary events in the brain cause`s "sense".
(Don`t seek for sence in other people.Seek it in yourself. It`s what makes you different from the others, and humans from robots)
And if there is sth different in humans to cause sence,
there should be a God who has made it.

It really all comes down to faith. However here are some things that might convince someone that God exists. The world is too complex. There must have been something that designed it. That one designer is God. Something cannot come from nothing. How then did the world come to be? It must have come from something. That something is God.

what is god?? if you think god is a living being or an item, then it may not exist. but if god is a power, some sort of an inspiration in people, then god will always exist.
so, my friend, rather than asking whether god exists, i think u should concentrate on thinking what actually god is.

It is like saying," Where do I come from?". God is a super natural being that only our faith drives us to believe in him. He is all-powerful,all-knowing. He is a mystery that even experts until know can't solve. So next time you ask the question, look at the sky, the stars and your baby. You might get a hint..=)
