the Bible ses that if you confess with your mouth that Jsus is Lord and you do not dought in your heart that He is then you shall be saved. but in doing this you take on the very natuer of Christ. meaning you stop acting like you and you start acting like Him. His caricteristicks are discribed throught the Bible and the best way you can sum up Jesus is saying He is love,,,, look at 1Corinthians chapter 13.
not just anyone will go into heven. sin separates us from that Thats ware Christ comes in. His death on the cross paid for our sin. it is becous of that that we have the choice to enter into heven and be with Him forever. His resurection shows us that He is Lord becous He concered death, hell, and the grave. so we dont have to face that. it takes a whole harted desision to fallow Christ. meaning you need to get tothe place ware you say "I want only the thing sof God and not of man" and then persew that.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and THE DEAD IN CHRIST WILL RISE FIRST. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

1 Corinthians 15:51-52
Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.

Well, since God create mankind to live on earth, then no one will be living in heaven, for that is God's realm where angels live and those written of in scripture - Enoch, Elisha and Yeshua.
The rest of mankind will have two places to go to - the earth when God cleanses it and the lake of fire. The lake of fire is a place reserved for Satan so no humans will live there - its more of a place where those humans sent there will be mercifully put to the second death. And for those who recieve the blessing of God, will return to the newly cleaned earth.

So in this case, who will enter into the new earth, what many think is the "heaven" people are to find rest in??
Sad to say, only those people who obey the commandments of God. It won't be Christians because they do not live according to God's word, Torah, where His commandments are. Other people of other religions where they worship other gods, they won't. So that really just leaves the Jews and those Hebrews who convert to the ways of Torah. Which means even many Jews won't because they ignore Torah also.

Yeah, the key is Torah. And to put it simply - all who do not abide by God's holy Torah, won't be entering the new earth.

The only people that will go to heaven are those that have accepted the gift of eternal life from Jesus Christ our Savior. Jesus died upon the cross for the sins of every one that he created and all he asked in return is that we submit our lives and hearts to him by publicy professing our faith to him and follow this in believer's baptism. This is the only way to enter heaven. You will not get into heaven for your good deeds, even though we are to do good. Read John Chapter 3
John Chapter 3:16-17 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world might be saved through Him"

I am a Christian--I believe that Jesus came to this earth about 2,000 yrs ago to live as an example for us, then ultimately die for our sins & He rose again! (Get ur free, legitimate copy of the Holy Bible at http://www.e-sword.net). Check out Romans 3:23, 6:23, 5:8, & (Rom 10:9) because if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. ALL who believe will have eternal peace!

In the Sermon on the Mt. Jesus taught that few will be saved as opposed to many like most people believe and teach today.

Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. (Matthew 7:13-14 NKJV)

He continues in vs.21 and gives further insight as to who will be in heaven...

Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' (Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV)

We might do all kinds of things in the Lord's name, but if we aren't doing His will or doing those things by His authority, then none of it matters. We must put aside the things we have been told by others, whether it's our parents, friends or even our preachers and turn to God's word and see what He would have do to be pleasing to Him.

All of the religious division we see in our society today is contrary to what the bible teaches.

Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. (1 Corinthians 1:10 NKJV)

Paul clearly states that there should not be any divisions among God's children. He even explains how unity can be achieved...
By speaking the same thing and being perectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

I.e.,when a question arises concerning doctrine or what the will of the Lord actually is, we should to the bible and let God tell us what we should do. If we'll do that then we'll all be speaking and doing the same thing!
