A cold fish is in reference to a woman who is totally cold. Do you know any cold fishes?? All fish are cold if we are speaking about fish from the cold waters, But I can think of a lot of men and women who are considered to be a cold fish. It has to be a real cold fish who would murder someone. This is just one way to put it. So go ahead and name a cold fish, that you know. I think this is what he means.

Both the standard Bloodfin (Aphyocharax anisitsi), and the False Bloodfin (Aphyocharax dentatus) tolerate temperatures as low as the mid sixties,Buenos Aires Tetra (Hemigrammus caudovittatus) - Easily found for sale, they will tolerate temperatures into the mid sixties. Standard varieties, as well as albino variants can be found. Like the Bloodfins, they are undemanding and easy to care for.
