HELP! My computer has stopped playing video files. The file plays with the soundtrack, but the screen just stays black! Its the same for all video playing applications - Windows, Real etc... Have I deleted something I should not have? Any suggestions?

The setting may be askew in some way. You could try to upgrade your video card drivers and add some extra video 'codecs' so you can see all types of videos. See link below for the codec bundle, you'll have to find out what video card you have before you can update the drivers for that. Good luck!

Depends on what your parents did if your a minor or...you probly deleted an important file...I say try running "dxdiag" and check under video I think and run the direct test. Also try reinstalling your video card to you computer...just right click on Desktop then properties after that goto setting advance then adapter and then properties. After that it should tell you to upgrade or reinstall. Yeah....ask again if that doesn't work
