YES!!! It would be par and part of the parcel, my dogs didn't ask to live at my home, I brought them here, they didn't ask to be domesticated, I chose it for them. It is therefore my responsibility to maintain their health in our society.
We encroached on them, not they on us.
Yeh, guess I love them pretty much hey!! lol

Yes i do cook for my dogs and i am a raw diet feeder myself. I do feed innova when my kids have to feed my dogs but that is maybe only once a month. Innova is a great dog food.
But.......... Raw is better and works better for me........ MY dogs have not had any health issues whatsoever in the past 10 years since i have been feeding this homeade natural diet and they are extremely healthy. Owner of 15 dogs at the present time that i have rescued from poor conditions now they are very healthy.,

nothing just keep up with the food he is on if you start cooking for him he will never eat dog food and you are left with a big problem he wont starve himself when he is very hungry he will eat if he dont eat in 3 days take him to the vet and see if there is anything wrong with him if not continue like i sead and keep lots of water down for him take him on a long walk to build up a hunger and feed him when you get home

Hell yes, the dog has to eat, and if he does not want to eat or is sick and can't eat yes I would cook for the dog, they have needs as well and it is up to us as humans to take care of them because if they had hands they would not need us. A little while ago my dogs were sick and could not chew and I went and bought ox heart and cooked and literally fed them.

My dogs do eat their dog food but I also cook for them and the foster dogs. Ot least once a week in the winter or fall I fix a huge pot of oatmeal and peanut butter. This past Sunday they all had scrambled eggs for breakfast and Chicken for dinner. If we grill there is always a pack of hotdogs on the grill for them.
No wonder they beg for food they are used to mommy giving it to them.

Definitely! Even to dogs, the food we eat tastes much better than dog food, and there's no reason that a living thing should go hungry when I'm perfectly capable of making him/her a nice meal in just a few moments. :)

If he was an old dog and sick, I would. But if he was just spoiled I wouldnt. I know someone whose dog would be insulted with a plate of canned or dry dogfood. If her mother babysits the dog, and she has to go out of town, the dog has to have his fried chicken legs and turkey breast .

If i had tried the best dog food, such as Innova, Solid Gold, Wellness, or Canidae, and he wouldn't eat it, or canned food...but WOULD eat home cooked meal..yes, i would cook for him or feed a raw diet, rather than allow him to starve.

Not just "NO!" but "HEL* NO!!!"
It WILL TOO EAT DOG FOOD!!Aren't YOU bigger, stronger,SMARTER than any DOG???
IT will NOT starve! JUST offer feed & give it 15 minutes to eat it. Then PICK IT UP!!!
**NOTHING** else but water for 24 hours! Then offer feed again & repeat!
Any decent brand od DRY*ADULT* feed is FINE!
