a girl and i were talking and we seemed to hit it off pretty well. she asked for my phone number so we could do something sometime. i gave her my number. its been 2 1/2 days now. how long should i wait for her to call me? im an idiot and didnt get her number lol.

Exactly. What choice do you have? Can you find her w/o coming off as a stalker? Don't waste your time worrying about it though.
Bottom line:
If she's into you, she'll call.
If she's not (or busy) she won't.
PS Great sign that SHE asked you for YOUR #! Next time say, "hey let me get yours too, just in case."

I don't wait at all...you can't let this stuff bother you. If she calls, she calls and if she don't, she don't. You can't put your life on hold and miss other opportunities over someone you met just one time. Also, sometimes, people make sure they take the other's number and don't give their's out just so they don't have to outright reject someone. This may or may not be the case. But don't completely freaked out just because a person you just met doesn't call.

Usually after two days, it's okay to call someone (from what I've been told). Yes, you were an idiot for not getting her phone number, dude. Good Luck, either way.

What are you doing? Sitting by the phone? If so, don't. She has your number. When she decides she wants to go somewhere with you she'll call. Until then, life as usual.

Yaaaaa... you prob should have got her number.. most girls are to shy to call for the first time.. either that or u have to remeber she could be "busy" hopefully u can see her soon and grab that number from her and start things off..

2 1/2 days is not so long ... there's hope but don't sit around waiting. Do stuff so when she asks "hey, what have you been up to?" you won't sound desperate.
