Boil one cup of white rice with 3 cups of water, and cook for an hour, or untill liquid is absorbed. Mix in finely shredded chicken. If you can get slippery elm bark at the herbalist shop, this will help him digest faster.
Feed his food warm, and as he holds his food longer, add vegetables to the mixture..Lentils are good if he can't digest chicken, or added to the mix....If he isn't drinking enough, give him unsalted chicken broth..
You can replace the chicken with boiled fish, and fish broth if it is more available.
If you can get kelp, or any kind of seaweed, this will help him get the most of his nutrition, and help his liver and immune system... Just mix a spoonful in when you feed, but don't cook the kelp.

WOW!! That's a tough one. I would recommend the vet, but as you said, you do not trust them or the medicine.
There are just too many possibilities. Does your pup scarf it's food (eat it in a hurry)?? If so, this can be a possible cause. Also, greasy or oily foods. I would hate to say to wait & see. But you are probably in the right place for this question. I have seen questions answered by Licensed Vet Techs on this sight, I hope they see your question. I have not worked as a vet tech for quite some time & I know things can change rapidly even in vet med.
Please be sure that your pup is getting plenty of fluids to replace those lost when vomiting. At such a young age their health can deteriorate quickly, so watch for signs. If the pup becomes lethargic, stops eating or drinking, a visit to the vet would be recommened.
Try a bland diet. Chicken, rice. Or another thing you can try is to feed the pup small amounts of it's regular food 2 or three times per day. If the pup normally eats a cup of food per day break that amount down into three portions.
If the pup has an upset stomach, a very small amount of Pepto-Bismol can soothe the stomach. Getting them to take it can be a messy chore though. I'm Sorry I could't be of more help.

Recently my dog has been vomiting also. I don't know much about her because I just got her a few months ago. I know that some frontline and equivalent medications made dogs vomit and/or have diarrhea for about a week after application which was the reason for my dog vomitting. Also if you give them treats of any kind try not giving them to for about a week and see if that helps. I would recommend going to the vet and bring a vomit sample. They might be able to test for intestinal problems if any. Good luck.

A 4 month old pup will eat about anything, and it's good for him that he can upchuck it. Some pups, even older dogs eat their own (or the cats or any) faeces, and is apt to throw it up. Make sure he can't get into the garbage and get string there. Put him in a separate area where there is nothing to eat but his dogfood and water. Remember your dog swallows things whole that you would chew, like peanuts, and if he gets many they will come up. He doesn't need much salad; he won't bother chewing that either. Give him something he will have to work on...try a big marrow bone but cook it 1/2 hr first and cool it. He will love it and do a good job on it. Buy a lot of small dog bisquits. Give him dry dog food.. Fresh water.

Restrict his diet a few days. As one lady said before make it's meal mostly of rice, some people add just a pinch of meat and keep the meals very small. Probably less than 1 cup total per day. Pepto Bismal can be used about same dose per pound, you'll need a small bulb like the one used for babies to administer it. It's not really possible to get an idea what's wrong over the Internet. This advice is just generic.

My dog used to vomit. We had to give her smaller portions of food 2-3 times a day instead of one big meal. My dad now cooks her food just boiled chicken and rice so she doesn't have any problems. Try and give your dog food that is not chunky and easy to swallow. That might help.

IF this continues, please see another vet. your pup could have megaesophagus, a potentially fatal illness if not treated. It is marked by vomiting after eating due to an enlarged esophagus that does not properly keep the food from coming back up. Smaller meals may help as well...more frequent feedings in lesser amounts. ALso be sure your pup is not gulping his food which can cause air to be swallowed and resulting in vomiting. I wish you the best!

i agree with the person who mentioned the mega esophagus. i "had" a beautiful brittany spaniel that was diagnosed in error the "megaesophagus". She ended up having a "portosystemic shunt" I found out on a Thursday that she had this and she died four days later. Just as soon as the dr diagnosed this she was rushed to a vet hospital for treatment. I only wish the dr who thought she had a mega esophagus did the proper diagnosis one week earlier, she would still be here. PLEASE look up both of these disease on google and see if they sound like your dog. both can be fatal and death comes fast. If you think your dog has portosystemic shunt withdraw proteins as protein can make the situation fatal.

ok....this happened to my guy too...but the only difference here was he didn't eat or drink and still throws up. but since u said your dog has a cold and u said you don't trust the vets there so i think my method would work. i can see your dog is really small...and since u live in china i would assume that u speak chinese too. so go to those drug store and buy their cold medicine...the really common one called." gan mao tong" i hope u know what i am talking about. the pills are really small and blue. take one of those blue pills crush it to fine powder. take half of the powder mix it with a little water in a spoon feed it to the dog. make sure he swallows everything. i know its bitter but it helped my dog. give him water or sweers after it. follow the direction on the direction paper. like...how long after u should take the madicine again and stuff like that. don't worry this small amount of medicine won't hurt the dog. give him easy to digest food and plenty of water...i know it's hot in china...don't give up on ur little baby, he'll give u lots of love in return!!

I would recommend getting another opinion from another Vet. If you really don't trust any other Vets, then do as much research as you can online. I wish you the best.
