Signs of a low self esteem, what do you think?(ladies)?

What are some signs that a woman might be suffering from a low self esteem? We'll here are some answers that I would like to give. Feel free to give ur response. Hopefully somebody will learn something from this.


1. A woman who allows men to use her body for sex.
2. A woman who gives oral sex but does not demand that a man gives it to her in return.
3. A woman who pays a man's bills just to keep him around.
4. A woman who sleeps with married men or goes after men who have girlfriends.
5. A woman who stays with a man who constantly cheats on her, b/c she is afraid she can not find better.
6. A woman who allows a man to call her bit**es and hoes.

Have any ladies here suffered with low self esteem and if so what category did your self esteem problem fall under. Choose 1-6, or add ur category.

Good question.

In general they won't respect themselves, they will not like to try new things (too scared of failure), they get easily ashamed or embarrassed, they always say that things or people are "weird", or they will frequently fish for compliments.

Most importantly THEY WILL MAKE FUN OF OTHER PEOPLE OFTEN. This is what powerless people do because it's the only way they can exercise control.

Here's what I have to say about yours:
1.) Yes I agree unless she's using him for the sex also, then it's arguable.
2.) I agree more or less.
3.) Agree. Pathetic at best.
4.) Definitely arguable.
5.) Definitely agree.
6.) Definitely agree.

Well, I guess that little eye contact or avoidance of eye contact could convey low self esteem. A lot of times people with low self esteem have bangs to feel more guarded or hidden from people's stares, but now since hair is just a big ol' fashion statement than rarely. Also, a quiet timid voice or lack of conversation could prove to be signs of low self esteem. But not a lot of people with low self esteem do actually show these signs. (These are just my opinions on the signs of a low self esteem) Self Esteem is a feeling of pride in yourself so I guess it could vary in different places. Like when you're at home you might have a low self esteem and at school you have a high one. Many people have low self esteem in their looks so I guess that can be altered with a bit of makeup (With exceptions to some cases). ^.~ I uno... Just an opinion. I'm not an expert, I'm only 13. But I hope that helps!

Not had 1-6, but physical abuse (should be #1). I got the hell out and walked out the door for good after I gave him a nice black eye while he was asleep, because he earlier in the day threw something at me and cut my lip. I know it is not right to be violent, and two wrongs don't make a right, and I don't recommend anyone doing this but looking at him after he did that to me, I just could not help it. He woke up with the most surprised look on his face and said, "Why did you do that?" I said, "Now you will know what it feels like." I left and never went back.

to be really honest.. i know alot of women who fit in these categories.. and some how all of these women are LIBRA's.. i dont know if this has to do anything with having low self esteem but what are the odds. though i'd share!

ill be honest , i do have low self esteem ... but i still have respect for myself as a human being .... i dont think ill ever be truly happy with myself physically or mentally ... but id never do or allow myself to live that kind of BS .. its not right for anyone and if you are doing that then you need to know that your better than all of it ...
