For all of you ex-smokers out there, do you find it hard to go out and party without puffing away? Are the numbers of people who smoke when they party or go to bars decreasing? Would you say it's becoming socially unacceptable to smoke even in party settings?

I quit in November, and it's a toughie...especially when a good portion of your pals still smoke. Add a beer or two, and the temptation quadruples. What I'd give for just one puff (except we all know it doesn't end there, does it?).
Just remind yourself of this: all the HELL we went through to quit was worth it...but I NEVER want to go through it again. Then get some fresh air, grab a straw, and puff away at it...hard. It helps me, even though it may seem a bit silly.
Now if I could just get rid of the extra pounds I put on since quitting...

some bars are becomming smoke free, and my friend who gives all the big dinners here allows people to smoke on the back patio but not in the house. its really a matter of who is giving the party if smoking is banned or not, find some non smokers and have your own places to go and gather, you will be better for it. westin hotels are barring all smoking in their hotels, do some of them have bars and resturants? i really dont know.
