My cousin's wedding. The flower girl stepped on the brides train at the reception causing the bride so slam face first into her wedding cake. Made for some hilarous pics although the bride wasn't too happy.

Athletic Friends' Wedding. The bride throws the bouquet towards a crowd of waiting single ladies (i sat this one out). The bouquet passed over the waiting crowd and smacked the groom on the back of the head all the way in the back of the room. Poor guy shouldn't have gone to the bathroom!!

Another cousin's wedding. The DJ for the reception only brought regai music. It was a very jamacian theme from that point on.

Friends' Relative's wedding. The ring bearer swollowed the ring. He was five so he kind of had an excuse. It WAS shiny. Bride forgot the dress at home.

I LOVE WEDDINGS. They are sooo much fun.

I was a bridesmaid 2 years ago and the bride had planned an outdoor ceremony and reception at this beautiful park. The park had a house and that's where we were getting ready. It was not supposed to rain, but it started pouring while we were getting ready and didn't stop until late that night. They had to scramble to move everything inside of this house. It wasn't a hall, but a house, so it didn't have one huge room, it had a bunch of small rooms. So, only a few people could see the ceremony. And I missed out on a lot of stuff, including the bouquet toss, because the rooms were too small to fit a lot of people in. The poor bride has still not gotten over that. I just got married 2 months ago, but I learned from her and had an outdoor ceremony, but an indoor reception. I chose a park that had a hall that we rented, and, of course, we had perfect weather. The moral of the story: always have a back-up plan if you're doing an outdoor wedding.

I was hired to do the make-up for a wedding ( I used to be a beauty therapist years ago) and I went to the hotel to get started on the Bridal Party, the bride was ranting and raging and in tears, and she kept delaying me doing her make-up, one of the bridesmaids told me that the groom was travelling up from Newcastle and had spent the night before with his ex girlfriend, the bride was trying to decide whether or not to go ahead with the wedding and to top it all her 9 year old sister had gone missing from the train up from Newcastle, the family thought she had got off at another stop but she was lost. I was left alone in a room for about 2 hours, then the flowers arrived and I had to sign for them. Eventually I ran out of time to do the bride's make-up, she decided to cancel the wedding, despite the groom begging and pleading with her, she did the right thing!

This is not at all terrible, it was quite funny. I was the bride, and everyone thought I was going to snap, but instead, I thought that if noting bad happened it wasn't a normal wedding...
First off, eairly the morning before the wedding, I got a call that all my floweres did come in, but they were all wilted and bruised, and the lady through them all out... So my sister and I had to go flower shop to flower shop, 13 to be exact, and buy all of what they had in what we wanted, thinking that if we didn't get what I wanted, we would settle for what we could get. We did do good and get enough, and then we had to find someone to make up my bouquets.Because we were having a 350 person back yard tent wedding, that we still had to set up for. Finally we found someone to do it for us in short notice, and they turned out great!!!
Then when we got back from the flower sittuation, all the family and friends that were working on the details of the tent, were trying to keep me away from the tent, finally they told me that the tent company put up a smaller tent, than we had ordered, and the dance floor that they told me that was beautiful, black and shiny, ended up being plywood with holes all over it. I just looked at it all, called the company told then they had 2 hrs. to change it all, ends up they didn't have any bigger tents left, because my tent got mixed up and it was set up some where out of town, and it would not be possiable to change anyting for atleast 5 hrs. By this time it was around noon and with all the decorations I had ready to set up, that was going to push us for time. The bigger tent was set up by 4:30pm, but the dance floor they couldn't do anything about.. so we went to a hardware store and bought those peel and stick tiles and covered their crap board with those. It looked great! And by 11:30 at night every one that helped me like crazy, all took a step back at the most beautiful sight. It was perfect...And then my maid of honor came to me with a face I will never forget, and brought me into the garage where all the fridges and freezers were... she opened up one of the freezers, and low and behold, all of our champagne was busted open all over the place. I guess my brother in-law thought he was just trying to help!! I was laughing so hard know one could believe that any one could be so calm, But what can you do. All I wanted was to marry my hubby!
To end this on a better note, the day of the wedding, *** thank God*** everything went perfect. And we are living happily ever after!!!

At my cousin's wedding they forgot the rings at the hotel and had to do the ceremony without them.

At my friend's wedding there was a huge storm and the power generator caught on fire and we didn't have any electricity for half the reception. The DJ couldn't play or anything but dinner by only candlelight was kind of nice.

When my brother got married, so much went wrong that day. First, the place where they were going to have their reception called and cancelled on them. Then the flower girl's thumb got slammed in a car door on the way into the church. Then the maid of honor called to say that she had a massive head ache and couldn't do anything with her hair. And last but not least, at the reception, one of the female guests went out into one of the groomsman's vehicles and had oral sex with him and my brother's wife found out....Needless to say, they are still very happily married despite all the complications of their wedding day!

I was the maid of honor in my best friends wedding, and at the reception some drunk lady started yelling at my kids..... I told her about 10 times to get away from my teenage daughters - and then I got my husband to tell her to leave...... well she threw a beer in his face, kicked him in the balls, and then attempted to hit me, so I punched her in the nose - breaking it instantly .. and she was bleeding like a stuck pig.

I was in full wedding attire - including heals and full jewery when I smacked her.

Then I went to Jail. I bailed out with in about an hour... but I could not beleive that happened at all.

Good news - Bride was not mad. Groom was not mad. Judge found me not guilty.... and the best part was...she weighed 150 lbs more than I did, and I made her drop like a popped balloon...
Best part was that we got great pictures of me being cuffed and stuffed into the cop car in my gown.

I was so horrified that that happened I didn't want to leave the house for a month.

Some of my husband's friends tried to sneak in beer at our wedding. We had a bar (but you had to pay for your own alcohol). The security guard wanted to throw them out and we got stuck with a $100 fine. Otherwise, everything else was good.

A bridesmaid fainting.
The groom leaving the ceremony to throw up
Wedding guests bringing their own liquor to the reception

Not so bad:
Rings not going on fingers--fingers swell when nervous
Rings getting stuck on the attendant's fingers

The bride was coming down the isle and trip in her heels and ripped her dress half way off, but the way it ripped was a cute cut that almost looked like it was made that way.
