I have a male friend, from another country, that I've known for years. He once told me that American men seem to have two mistakes that they make over and over. He says that one is that no man should talk of a woman to another woman, it makes her feel devalued. The other is that he should treat her like an empress, but not as a subject would, as an emporer would treat his empress, as equals. What do you think?

I agree with him. Women really don't want to hear about other women. Another woman once told me that a man is supposed to make a woman happy, treat her like a queen...that is his job, in her words.
Your friend is right...american men think that women are at their disposal for their own pleasure; we are only there to make them happy - forget about our own needs.
Tell your friend he needs to come teach manhood classes for American men.

Sounds like your friend is a very intelligent person. If people, in general, treated each other well as an emperor or empress wouldn't the world be a better place. Have a good night!

I'm not a lady, but... Yeah, a guy should treat his girlfriend, fiance, wife as his ******' Queen!! If he can't do this, he's not a real man. I'm 20 btw, not some old wise guy.

I don't agree with this. It sounds good and all but I'm sure in practice it would be annoying. Besides, it just sounds like the girl would get spoiled and that can't always be a good thing.
