Boomer and have a middle name too, so when they get in trouble, you yell them both and they know they're bad. Works for my dogs.

Usually a short name that your dog can understand. Trainers recommend that the dog's name end in a vowel, but I think that is not necessary. Just so long as the dog knows his name works best. Have fun!

The best name for a dog is short, (no more than 2 sylables,) and uses 'hard' sounds - k's, d's, g's, etc. Avoid 's', and any names that sound similar to any command words you intend to train the dog with. Above all, be consistent with the name - mutiple names will only confuse the animal.

I have read with hunting dogs it is best to name them one syllable names. In our family the names are Buck, Bear, Brit. It helps with calling and directions given. I have also read about a name with a vowel. One of our dogs is Mocha. She also answers readily. I would suggest staying with one or two syllables.

i just had a litter of four, the girl's name is cinnamonon, the three boys are dipstick ( his tail looks like its dipped in frosting lolz), jordan (my friend loves her nike jordans), and chaos ( we're hoping he jus doesn't end up being an actual chaos haha).
See what you like, as in favorite candies, etc... you can have names like nachos, twinkies, hersheys, or my sister named her cat sparkles becuz of the emerald green glow in her eyes. But yeah just have fun! There are a lot of sites on yahoo that gives cute dog names too for boys and girls.

The best name for a dog would be Fu*ker! Come her F*cker! Bad F*cker! You little fu*ker! Despite being very vulgar it does endear itself as being a kind and loving name for any dog big or small!
