My 4 month old PomChi has been vomiting latley about an hour or so after he eats... I brought him to the Vet and he said that my dog has a cold, and gave him 3 shots of medicine. My dog now seems much worst so I called the Vet and he recommened that I take the dog out for walks and so on and it should help him heal. I usually do take my dog out everytime im free. I have tried to change his diet but that doesnt help as-well... What should I do? Or does anyone know what could be wrong with my dog and how can I help him? I live in China and the I dont really trust any of these Vets or the medicine, but I have no other choice. Can someone please help?

You're dog could just be eating too fast. I used to have a dog that did that. She would vacuum her food up and then puke it up an hour later cause she ate too fast.

I had to break her meals down to smaller portions. Feed her... wait an hour or two and feed her again.

The dog is still a pup, I hope that you are feeding it puppy food, not dry hard stuff. Also have plenty of water. Try feeding it only a little at a time so all the food in the stomach is not so much in the tummy at one time. Use bottled water. Also seek advice over the phone from other vets to see what they say.

Make sure the food you give is at room temperature and fresh, wash all bowls regularly. What are you feeding him, it might be a food intolerance or allergy and unrelated to the cold he has. Let him rest and recover, walking him too much will wear him out, his body won't have the energy to build his immune system back up.

IYou might try cooking some simple broth for your dog if you haven't already. Boil his water and make sure the bowls are cleaned out well. I would recommend some chicken or beef broth or even rice with scrambled eggs. Good luck.

ASK THEM TO GIVE HIM A VITAMIN B SHOT, THIS IS SUPPOSED TO HELP THEIR HEALTH AND APPITITE, TRY TO ONLY FEED YOUR DOG WHITE RICE INSTEAD OF DOG FOOD AND SEE IF THIS HAPPENS AGAIN IF IT DOESN'T IT'S A FOOD ALLERGY IF IT DOES HAPPEN THEN SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH HIS DIGESTIVE SYSTEM. I WOULD NOT BE TAKING HIM OUT ON WALKS WITH HIS STOMACH BEING EMPTY, HE PROBALY HAS VERY LITTLE ENERGY. IF HIS NOSE IS HOT HE'S GOT A FEVER, AND HE IS SICK.
