Tell him not to sit directly on the toilet seat...I hear that is where you catch most of your homosexuality....It's true...I have a cousin who sat down...it has been terrible ever since. You are such an idiot.

First of all with a 6 month old I would worry about other things...and 2nd of all homosexuality isn't a diesease it's a lifestyle.You don't catch it like the flu it just happens and at 6 months old I doubt your child is going to blurt out I am a homo mommy

Homosexuality is not a disease that somebody can catch. Anybody can become homosexual but there are factors that play a role in whether or not they become homosexuals. Environment, Upbringing, Genetic Factors, Propensity, Gender Identification, and also many times people that were sexually molested by members of the same sex can become gay later on in life as this is a very traumatic event that can seriously alter your sexual identity.

Wow. People really hated your question. I think you have a legitimate question that a lot of fathers face, though. It IS important to be a good role model for your son as he grows. Don't teach him hatred or ignorance but rather tolerance (not glorification) of people with differences. Keep an eye on his friends, pray that he is protected and guided well. Most importantly again is to be a good role model. I do not buy for one second that people are born gay. If they were (and again, I think it doesn't happen that way) they can and should be "nurtured" back into heterosexuality by loving and caring family members. Attack me if you want, answerers. I have a right to my opinion. Just be a good dad, Dude. ALWAYS be there for him.

Assuming this is a serious question: the first thing is that what is referred to as "homosexuality" is not like a "common cold" or virus and therefore "is not caught". People either believe that homosexuality is chosen or that it is "set at/prior to birth". When he is old enough to know about sex then be sure to inform him fully with facts

I didnt know u could catch homosexuality, is that a disease now? Your son will be what he is going to be, just make sure that you are a good role model and im sure he will be happy no matter what when he is older.

homosexuality is not a disease u "catch" many times its the way the child is brought up or if in fact it is a genetic malformation as many claim, then you cant keep him from being gay, but you can influence his decision to act out on it. its a tough subject but when the time comes and u son starts asking questions don't be afraid to answer them alot of times clearing things up for him will help him choose the right. if in fact your son is gay in his adult life remember that he is still your child and for that reason alone deserves your love even if you do not agree with his lifestyle.

It's something you're born with, or in rare and often shortlived instances, it's something someone tries on, like a pair of slacks.
You really need to go back to high school and take a few biology lessons!

homosexuality is not something that is caught, it is something that a person is born with. If you don't want to ever worry about your son becoming a homosexual then I suggest you give him up for adoption, that way you never have to think about it or feel responsible if it happens.
