And a response to John, the first post, I've been on it and the scientific evidence (ie, Intelligent design and irreducible complexity) need to be updated as irreducible complexity evidence has been proven wrong (blood clot, bacteria flagella and others) and intelligent design, which demands it to be testable. I've have seen no tests for it.
At best, God can be proven through intellectual means, like theology but from a scientific point of view, it is not testable and science can only look at it and say "we dont know."
And As for who is the father of this universe, anyone can say anything with confidence (like saying its god) but whether that is scientifically true, no one knows.

We all rule ourselves. We aren't gods or part of a greater universal being. We are simply individuals with sovereignty over our own lives.
To the first poster, John: That is the most convoluted, pseudo-scientific tripe I've ever seen. The content at your link isn't "intellectual" or "scientific" -- it's religious philosophy at best.

physics and chemistry.
and these universal laws are him in the flesh.
Not the image we are taught to worship.
like if god was created to our image i can only say he is an ape. or he even has a belly button hmmm so he has a mom.
NO! to me we are energy, a bunch of atoms obeying certain laws. that's his image right there.
