will he even know it's his birthday? its your son's day - he should have fun, not the freeloading older kids. Have it at home, get a nice cake and play lots of fun games.

The baby's not going to expect a hooplah. But a kid like enviroment will have the kids be happy and so will your baby. I think the only problem with chucky cheese is that if the big kids play in the arcades and tubes, your baby will want to too but he's not old enough. I say rather than making the party big and crazy, just invite alot of people and kids over so its still big and special, but most things for kids will be to big for your baby. so just invite a clown or a magician for the party. good luck!

okay, have you not seen that there is a war going on and starving children in Africa with many illnesses, wake up the celebration of life at one is great but let's get realistic he won't remember it and the chucky cheese is so disturbingly disgusting I have no idea where to begin, look around and hug him and give him a chance at new ideas that will shape and change this ugly society we are creating

I think you should consider having your baby's B-day at home or maybe a picnic in the park would be nice.Chucky Cheese is a bit overwhelming for a one year old.

You don't have to do anything big for a fist b-day. But a gathering at home with friends and family would be great. You baby may not remember but family and friends will.

For my son's first birthday, I did it at home. I think for that age, it's best to be home. Also have activities or outdoor things for older kids attending. You have many more years to have one at Chuck E. Cheese's.

we did ours at round table, it was fairly quiet, there's fun food and the older kids played a little with the goody bags and my son's opened presents that he wasn't using. all in all it went well. i don't think c.c. is really the best spot for a one year old, maybe something a little more relaxed...a park with a playground or something would be good too.

He might be afraid of the mouse! Home is his secure base. Always a safe bet when kids are young.
